Tony Morris, governing body member of jehovahs witnesses, was fired from his position. This is a huge shakeup within Jehovahs Witnesses circles, and can’t be ignored. We can only speculate as to why he was fired. The last person to be removed from the position (Ray Franz in 1980), was removed for apostasy. The announcement of Tony Morris’s removal referred to him as “brother”, unlike Ray Franz’s announcement, which implies he will remain a member of the religion, and the reason for his removal is not related to apostasy.
